Aarogya Setu Mobile App.  Today, I am going to explain to you about the new app launched by Govt. of India let by PM Narendra Modi on 1st April 2020 called Aarogya Setu. This is a coronavirus COVID-19 tracking app. This App will help you to protect from an infected person against Coronavirus.

So, I want to explain friends, how it works and how well it will help us with our COVID-19 fight. So, this app when you download, it will ask you for accepting the data and also the Bluetooth and GPS to be active while you are using this Aarogya Setu App.

How do the Aarogya-Setu App works?

Let's say, there are three people XY and Z, who don't know each other, are traveling on your nearby road or on a bus or a train and if they're in close contact or nearby, this app will alerts you. You will be alerted if someone you have in close even unknowingly, tests COVID - 19 Positive.

The data is acquired by the government of India will be used to track the places, wherever this particular person has gone. So, because of the Bluetooth device in which you are using the close network where the person has traveled the close network the data was taken using by Bluetooth, and the area network using the GPS system.

So, once the person is very close to that he/she will be notified if you are in that particular area. This particular disease is pandemic and spreading everywhere. This app will help us to understand, how safe we are by activating the GPS system.

This App also alerts are accompanied by instructions on how to self-isolate and what to do in case you develop COVID - 19 symptoms for help and support. So, everyone should install this Aarogya-Setu App on your mobile.

This Aarogya-Setu is a very small App will not take the memory of your Phone, it is only 2.9 MB and downloaded by 10 Million users.

How to install the Aarogya-Setu App?

This App is supported by the Android and IOS versions.

1.    Go to Play Store or App Store in your Android or IOS device.
2.    Search for the Aarogya Setu app in the search bar.
3.    Click to install the Aarogya Setu App.
4.    Select the Language from 11 languages.
5.    Switch on Bluetooth & Location, Set Location Sharing to always.
6.    Click to Register Now.
7.    You have to agree like other App Device Location, Bluetooth and Data sharing options.
8.    Enter the mobile number and submit the OTP.
9.    Then you can do your self-assessment test for you and your family.

In this app, you can see all the COVID-19 helpline numbers based on the states, you can just click on the phone number to call. You can also call if you see an infected person nearby.

Also, you may give a self-assessment test on this app, once you click on it, it will ask you Gender, Age, Some Symptoms, previous disease if you have, travel history and few questions if you fill it will show you your health status.
